Co**has (Mexican Pan Dulce)
Soft and sweet traditional Mexican bread with a crunchy topping that resembles a seashell. ("Co**ha" means "shell" in Spanish.)
I remember passing by one of the Pasteleria Ideal stores on my way home. Busog na kaayo ko ato kay nakapila nako ka tacos and churros, pero nisulod gyud ko out of curiosity kung ngano daghang tao sa sulod. Classic conchas ra akong naabtan kay paspas kaayo mahurot, and it was very lami!
I baked some today because I miss Mexico City! They may not be as authentic as the ones I had in CDMX, but these colorful ube, strawberry, and chocolate conchas aren't bad at all.
