Our books are meant to be read, NOT played with.

If books cannot be handled properly, we respectfully ask that they not be taken from the shelves.

We have recently found books left on the floor, misplaced around the cafe, and damaged due to unsupervised handling.

Kape Kape is a library cafe—NOT A PLAYGROUND. Every book on our shelves is part of a collection that we have carefully built and maintained through the years. Maintaining thousands of books takes time, effort, and resources, and we ask all guests to help us care for them.

Kape Kape Cafe will now be open from 2PM to 11PM daily.

As much as we love seeing people stay, work, and study here at KKC, we’d also like to remind everyone to be mindful of extended stays without reordering.

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support your local cafe.
