Grommets surfing program!
The waves are calmer, and so are the surfers!
Come surf with us, Every Saturday! Free surf lessons, helped by surf instructors, and by volunteers! Come experience surfing for free! And see how it goes. You never know, you might grab the next wave and the other!
The surfing here is for free, after you’ve completed your four weeks of training and initiated in our group, there will be no charge when you want to use a bodyboard or a surfboard, because you are part of the— ANGEL SURF GANG! 🏄♀️ 🪽
This surfing program helps local kids to experience surfing, and fun activities planned time to time. This gives an opportunity for kids to try a sport they haven’t tried before. By doing this program, we just don’t help kids, we help their passion for surfing, but not having the right equipment.
Our team will welcome you with open arms, and will surely fill your day with smiles and laughter! Never be scared to try, it’s good to have that fear and excitement in you.

Ages placed in each team:
4-12 : Grommets (under 12)
Just have fun surfing, no worries, just focus on balancing!
14 and above: Volunteers
Will help with certain organising, even the smallest thing you’d do will be highly appreciated. Enjoy surfing!
This is the procedure we will be going through if you do join!
Week 1: Get to know the people, the waves, and the ocean! Will simply just be a welcome, and will be taught basic knowledge of using a BODYBOARD. (Not a surfing board) Get to be comfortable with the environment around you!
Week 2: Still with bodyboarding, but will be accompanied by few other grommets and with a volunteer! Basically just a fun day. Afterwards, maybe a small snack.
Week 3: Woohoo! Congrats dude, officially part of the Angel surf crew team🫶. By these three Saturdays, you will just go by bodyboarding, and by communication, and getting to know waves and people. After being comfortable enough to continue, by the 4th week you will be taught how to use a Shortbpard/longboard. Accompanied with a volunteer, and possibly some pictures taken by our very very cute and tall photographer 😎: Angel Silvey. (Joke lang pow)
This doesn’t just involve knowing how to surf, but also getting to know basic beach rules, getting to know surfers, new people to talk with, and more laughter to share with others!
I think what we are doing here, does benefit our community and helps others to come together as unity, through surfing, we can create memories by simply catching waves.

(Heavily recommended to join if you are within Buenavista area! Or even Within Gubat. But it’s totally up to the person, and the parents decision whether the distance is worth it.)
