On behalf of Country Cafe, we would like to thank the organizer Music and Musical Instruments for organizing the Metro Dumaguete Inter-School Battle of the bands held in Country Cafe last June 27,2026.
A huge thank you to each band for making Battle of the Bands possible. You didn’t just perform ,you invested your time, talent, and trust in this event. It is a pleasure to open a stage for local artists and music lovers alike, making Country Cafe an avenue to express your music and be heard. where musicians can share their heart, their stories and their sound. Events like these, new bands get their first crowd and grow artists.
Six bands battled it out on stage and every single of you showed us what Dumaguete music is all about. Battle of the Bands isn’t just about winning. It’s about the months of practice, the broken strings, the last-minute setlist changes, and the guts it takes to play in front of a crowd. Each of you brought something different: different sound, different story, same heart.

To every band that took the stage that night ,whether you walked away with the trophy or not, you already won — you showed up, you played loud, and you gave the audience a night they won’t forget. Behind every 20 minute set is weeks of rehearsal, songwriting, and teamwork. That dedication didn’t go unnoticed. You pushed each other to be better, and you gave the crowd a show worth remembering. Win or lose, you’re all part of why live music in Dumaguete keeps growing. Thank you for sharing your art with us.
From the organizers, crew, and everyone who came to support: thank you for your music, your passion, and your energy. Dumaguete’s music scene is alive because of bands like you. Keep writing, keep playing, keep making noise. We can’t wait to hear you again.
Big thank you to our sound technicians who worked hard backstage, you may not see them in spotlight but they are the ones who made everything sounds good, loud and clear. Thank you for making them sound their best.”
To the winners, congratulations. To everyone else, we hope to see you back on this stage next year, louder and stronger.
