The Idea GOD Wouldn’t Let Me Forget ☝️
In 2022, I had an idea.
I was thinking about bringing something new to our city—something I had never seen before. But is already in Japan, Korea, I started watching videos, researching, and searching everywhere to see if something like it already existed in the Philippines.
I couldn’t find anything.
I remember thinking, “Maybe I should do this.”
But that year, we also had a lot going on financially. We traveled to Korea, and we also bought our first car. There were many expenses and priorities at the time, so my husband said,
“Let’s do it later.”
And so I put the idea aside.
But I never really forgot about it.
In 2023, I started taking the idea more seriously. I began looking for equipment suppliers, working on the logo, researching, testing, and doing my own research and development.
During the Ber-months, I also gave birth to my daughter.
That was when I finally showed my husband everything I had been working on. I told him,
“I believe this could be the first snack like this in the Philippines.”
He told me,
“Let’s do it properly. We’ll do it later.”
So once again, we waited.
Then came 2024.
We were finally ordered the machine outside PHilippines. But just when we were about to make it happen, another brand opened in Davao City doing something similar.
I honestly lost hope.
I thought, “Maybe this isn’t meant for us anymore.”
But my husband pushed me to continue.
He said,
“That’s okay. We’ll still do it.”
So we did.
We started building it, learning, testing, improving, and figuring things out along the way.
And once again, life happened.
At the same time we were building the business, I gave birth to my younger son.
It wasn’t easy.
I was building a business while becoming a mother again.
But on October 17, 2024, something that started as an idea in my head back in 2022 finally became real.
We released it to the market for the very first time.
Looking back now, I realize that the idea was never really gone.
It was just waiting for the right time.
The travel, the car, the expenses, the delays, the competition, the pregnancies, the doubts, and the moments when I almost gave up—all of them became part of the story.
And maybe the biggest lesson God taught me was this:
A delay doesn’t always mean a denial.
Sometimes God gives you the vision long before He gives you the opportunity to build it.
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3
What started as an idea in 2022 became a dream we finally brought to life in 2024.
And today, I can look back and say:
It was worth waiting for. ❤️
