SANA BAMPIRA NA LANG TAYO PARA WALANG KATAPUSAN ANG GABING ITO

Yearning was in the air last night as fitterkarma brought the “Patungo sa Kamatayan” Album Tour to Davao, singing their biggest hits “Kapalastangan” and “Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II” along with new tracks such as “666” and “Aswang sa Maynila.”

Our very own Davaoeño performers made us proud: Peniel and lonely hearts club took turns during the opening hours, while Sherwin Calumpang Tuna ended the night with his signature budots mix.

A big shoutout to Sakto Lang! for making this night happen, and to all the fans who went and showed their love and support for all the performers!

Before we hit the dancefloor, here's a little background.

Born in Jamaica in the late 1950s, ska brought together Caribbean rhythms, jazz, and R&B to create a sound that would travel across generations, inspire new movements, and get people moving around the world.

From its Jamaican roots to the 2 Tone revival and beyond, ska has always been about more than the music. It's about rhythm, rebellion, identity, and community.

Come down and be part of it!

The night was certainly one for the books! Five bands, five scenes, five different cities gather together for one night to share one stage. Some of them just starting out, and some of them still on their way, and one literally coming from a fresh win in the 2026 Awit Awards. All sharing the same passion for making music.

The PADAYON TOUR by ONE CLICK STRAIGHT and monopolice was a testament how the spirit of DIY really pushes everyone to overcome the challenges, and making the most of it (including a serious flat tire on the road). Through it all, everyone finds the silver linings and finds a way to keep moving.
PADAYON!
Thank you ONE CLICK STRAIGHT and monopolice for doing this tour, and trusting us to help you pull this off. A very huge thank you for The Commons at MTS for always being there to host these gatherings. Thank you Eeyan Paolo , TCKLDMNKS , and our own TrashBunk, for saying yes when asked if you want to be part of this.
And of course, evryone who made the night possible. Abuelo's Maa for hosting the lunch (chicken inasal and pakol salad = winners 🥰), Alberto's Pizza for feeding us (including the after-event bulcachong 😃), Better Components Inc. for the great sound system, and the Cinedashery East team for the coverage of the whole night. Big thanks also to the crew, the staff, and the tech of The Commons at MTS for keeping everything running smoothly. And to the Holodeck crew, nuff said! 🤘
And finally, to everyone who showed up: Davao, you were incredible. 👏👏👏
For those who missed it… there will always be another, but make sure you don't get left behind. 😌
