The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), led by Governor Aris Aumentado, congratulates the Bohol Participatory Guarantee System Association (BPGSA) farmers as they received their Participatory Organic Certificates (POC) during the Closing Program of the Sandugo Agrifair on July 19, 2023, at the Tagbilaran City Old Airport.

Marilou Escalona, Rona Denque, Efrenia Holt, Emmanuel Gamonez, and Jomer Balag received the certificates from the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) Science Research Specialist I Jerson Raphael Bontogon.

PGBh, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) under the Organic Agriculture Program, has supported this undertaking in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) - Region 7 and Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) - Region 7.

Collaborations between local farmers and government agencies foster the growth of organic, sustainable, and climate-smart agricultural practices in the province under the Aumentado-Balite administration, contributing to healthier food options, protecting the environment from harmful chemicals, and supporting the overall well-being of the Boholanos.
