The story of Mr. Norman King reminds us that hardships may shape our journey, but they do not have to define our destination.

The owner of Kape Boss also comes from a tribal community here in Davao, carrying with her the values, culture, resilience, and strength that come from his roots.

Kape Boss did not begin with a big café, a huge capital, or a perfect situation. It started with a simple coffee cart, a dream, and the courage to keep going.

From serving coffee along the roads of Davao to creating a place where riders, travelers, families, and strangers can sit down, breathe, share their stories, and enjoy a cup of coffee—Kape Boss has always been about more than coffee.

It is about dreams born from humble beginnings.

It is about people who continue moving forward despite life's challenges.

And it is about remembering where we came from while continuing to build where we are going.
