⚠️ Please read the details in my caption carefully to understand the entire process and application.
NZ is now hiring qualified New Zealand registered and certificated teachers.
Primary and secondary school teachers fall under the Straight to Residence Pathway, while early childhood education teachers are under the Work to Residence Pathway. Open to all licensed teachers including overseas-trained teachers!
To apply for the job postings I shared, follow these steps.
⚫️ First, carefully read the caption to ensure you understand the requirements. Comprehension is crucial when searching for teaching jobs in New Zealand.
⚫️ Next, obtain your New Zealand practicing certificate, which is essential for teaching in the country. Employers prefer experienced teachers with this certification, so it's a must-have. You can find the steps to obtain the certificate, along with required documents, in my videos.
⚫️Finally, look for an accredited employer who can sponsor your visa to New Zealand. When applying for teaching positions outside of New Zealand, be sure to mention in your CV that you need an accredited employer to sponsor your visa.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
✅ New Zealand-registered and certificated teacher with a minimum of two years' verifiable classroom experience.
✅ Curriculum Vitae, resume, and application package (usually provided by hiring schools)
✅ A driver’s license is preferred but not required, as you may be assigned to rural areas where having your own vehicle is necessary.
✅ You can apply for a job from outside New Zealand if your employer is accredited to sponsor your work visa.
✅ If you're outside NZ, the skilled migrant category is available to those 55 and under.
Note: For those currently offshore, look for employers accredited to sponsor your visa application.
