I WOULD HIRE THAT PHILIPPINE AIRLINES STATION LOADER IN AN INSTANT. What he did for us is customer service at its best.
I had two bottles of Palawan honey in my check-in luggage. Apparently, we needed to make a little hole because if the bottle is pressurized, it cannot go into the plane. I’m like: HOW DO WE PUT A HOLE IN THE BOTTLE WHILE CHECKING IN OUR LUGGAGE.
Tired and overstimulated, I struggled (and succeeded naman) to keep my cool. But he seemed to notice my frustration . So he helped us look for scissor, he put the hole in himself, found us a small box and advised us to insert something so that the bottles will stay upright, and advised us to buy packing tape.
After which, he wrapped the box in packing tape — WITH A LITTLE HANDLE!! it’s the little things like this that show great customer service. All this in less than a jiffy.
Thank you, Philippine Airlines!! Your station loader, Jesley, is a treasure. Treat him well or he will make some other airline really successful. Sana maturuan ko si Jesley ng financial planning hehe.
