Some customers come for the ice cream… and some leave a mark on our hearts. 🥹🥥💓
For 3 days, pabalik-balik sila sa Mamá Coco, kaya familiar na familiar na kami sa kanila. Super warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. But today, they surprised us with something we’ll remember for a long time.
They told us they’ve been talking about our coconut ice cream with the staff of Tropical Nomad, telling them, “You have to try it!”
One of the staff mentioned that they really wanted to, pero an order of ice cream could already cost almost half of their one-day salary.
We thought that was the end of the story.
Then we received a message from them asking if we could deliver ice cream to the staff of Tropical Nomad… and they would pay for everything. 🥹
Hindi naman nila kailangan gawin. But they thought about someone else’s experience and simply wanted them to enjoy something they enjoyed too.
That kind of empathy and generosity is beautiful. 💓
Thank you so much, Ma’am, for reminding us that kindness can be as simple as saying, “I enjoyed this, and I want someone else to experience it too.”
We really hope we get to serve you again someday. And wherever your travels take you next, please know that you will always have a home here in Coron with us. 🥥🌴
