Last Saturday, something special happened at Mess Hall. 🤎
As the sun set over our first-ever Junk Journal Café, our tables disappeared under paper scraps, washi tapes, old tickets / receipts, pictures, and cups of iced coffee & matcha. For a few hours, nobody was in a hurry. Just scissors, glue, stories, and pages slowly coming to life.
We’ve always believed Mess Hall should be more than a café — a place to slow down, make something with your hands, and be around good company. Yesterday proved that journals and coffee really are the perfect tandem. The perfect way to destress after a long week.
This gathering was our small way of saying thank you to our PAMANA card holders and the friends who believed in Mess Hall from the very beginning. Every journal was handpicked for each of you, because you deserve nothing less.
To Miss Tschai of Papers and Tschai — thank you for facilitating with so much warmth and creativity. Every page turned out beautiful because of you. ✂️📖
Here’s to more slow afternoons together. Watch this space. ☕️
