Hi everyone. We just want to make our customers aware of something that happened earlier today.

It has come to our attention that someone may be using delivery booking details to contact our customers, pretend to be from Kinapusan, and ask for GCash payments.

This happened twice today on two separate COD delivery bookings.

In both cases, shortly after the booking was accepted by a rider, the customer received a text message asking for a GCash payment. The message came from the same mobile number, but used a different GCash number.

To be clear, these messages did not come from us.

For COD orders, please do not send any GCash payment to anyone claiming to be from Kinapusan unless you personally requested to change your payment method with us through our official page or messenger account.

We only book delivery riders who are able to cover the full COD amount. There is no reason for a rider to suddenly arrive at the store short on cash and ask the customer to send partial payments through GCash since we always communicate with the riders the moment they accept a COD booking.

We are still trying to understand how this happened. It may be someone with access to booking details, or someone monitoring COD bookings in the area. At this point, we do not want to accuse anyone without proper confirmation. What we know for sure is that the payment request did not come from us.

Unfortunately, we already had to refund one customer because of this incident. Thankfully, we were able to warn the second customer before any payment was sent.

For everyone’s safety, please take note:

⚠️Only trust payment instructions from our official Kinapusan page or official messenger account.
⚠️Do not send payment to random numbers claiming to represent our store.
⚠️If someone texts you asking for GCash payment AFTER WE BOOK YOUR ORDER, please screenshot the message and contact us immediately through our page or messenger before sending anything.

We are sharing this to protect our customers and to prevent this from happening again.
