Today, we remember not just a colleague, but a dear friend and a valued part of our family.
Dexter Mercolita, our Head Barista, was a truly gifted barista whose passion and talent could be seen in every cup he made, especially in the beautiful latte art he created with such patience and precision. His hands could turn a simple cup of coffee into something memorable.
But beyond his talent, what made Dexter truly special was the person he was. He was humble, kind, gentle, and always willing to share his knowledge and help others. He was one of our best employees, not only because of his skills, but because of the warmth and goodness he brought into our workplace.
His presence will be deeply missed, the laughter, the quiet moments, the dedication, and of course, the beautiful cups of coffee that carried a little piece of his passion.
Dexter, thank you for being part of our journey and for leaving a lasting mark on our team and everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.
Your work may have ended, but your artistry, kindness, and memories will remain with us.
There will always be an empty space behind the bar, but the legacy you left at Cafe Gara will continue in every cup we serve and in every barista you inspired.
