Commute guide to Calagaus Island
Bicol base ( Naga City)

From Naga City (old LCC mall terminal)
Ride a Van puntang Daet, from Daet terminal need mo pa sumakay ng tricycle papunta sa terminal ng mga Jeep/Van bound for Paracale, Panganiban at Vinzons.
Note: Here decide ka if anong port trip mo papunta Calaguas Island or saan kausap mo na boat/tao na magdala sayo sa isla.

For Paracale: (mas malayo sa Daet; mas mabilis boatride to isla)
Ride Van going to Paracale, (terminal lng baba) tricycle ka pa ulit pa Centro/Port.

For Vinzons: (mas malapit sa Daet; (mdyo mas katagalan ang boatride)
Ride Jeep going to Town Proper of Vinzons: then tircycle ult papuntang port.
From Daet pwede na mag hire tricycle direct to Vinzons port.( kung hnd ka nagtitipid)

Need mo mag secure ng booking from one of the operational resort in Calaguas Island, or contact Tourism office, specially during weekends or holidays. pwde mo din pa arrange sa contact person mo/organiser.

Remember to check weather condition prior to your plan of travel... baka may gale warning at mapabilang ka sa mga naging sawi sa pag tawid sa Calaguas.

For solo DIYers. In port of paracale may mga taga barangays na tumatawid from Calaguas Island, mostly ang depart nila is afternoon or early morning. then you can just ride a habal-habal to mahabang buhangin. If taga brgy Mingkawayan ang masakyan mo, pwd mo na lakarin pa puntang halabang baybay. If tamad ka, habal ka nlng.. (this is not recommended sa mga takot sa malaking alon.mali-liit ang bangka ng mga taga brgys.)
Alternatively if sa Vinzons Port may Passenger Boat na going to Brgy Banocboc, from there pwede ka mag rent ng small boat pahatid ng Calaguas Island(Mahabang buhangin).

If you are a group/family, recommended padin na kumontak ng tourist boat or nag o-organise ng tour.
Always coordinate with local tourism.
Best time na pumunta dito ay summer.

Vinzons Terminal- Daet; 25 via Jeep

Tips: Pwede kau mag Joiner tour during weekend. Commute to Daet by Friday. stay overnight and join a tour by morning..usually tour agencies depart around 8am-9am. Secure your slot first.
