A Warm Welcome Home & Congratulations, Chef Jun Dale G. Marcojos! 👨🍳✨
The Vista DelyMar family joyfully welcomes home and celebrates our very own Chef Jun Dale G. Marcojos on the successful completion of the Department of Tourism’s Lasa at Likha: A Chefs’ Masterclass.
Lasa at Likha is a prestigious national capacity-building initiative of the Department of Tourism that gathers 100 outstanding regional chefs and culinary professionals from across the Philippines for a day of learning, collaboration, and mentorship with Michelin-recognized chefs and some of the country’s most respected culinary and hospitality leaders. Through insightful panel discussions, live cooking demonstrations, technical lectures, and networking sessions, the program aims to strengthen Philippine gastronomy and inspire culinary excellence across the regions.
This opportunity was made possible through a selection process. Chef Jun Dale was first nominated by the Department of Tourism – Bislig, and after the regional evaluation, was chosen by the Department of Tourism – CARAGA to represent our region at the national masterclass.
We are truly humbled and grateful that he was given the opportunity to become the sole representative of Surigao del Sur, one of only four representatives from the CARAGA Region, and among the 100 regional chefs selected nationwide.
We sincerely thank the Department of Tourism – Bislig, Department of Tourism – CARAGA, and the Department of Tourism Philippines for believing in regional chefs and for creating meaningful opportunities like Lasa at Likha. Programs like these empower chefs to continue learning, growing, and bringing new knowledge back to the communities they serve.
For us at Vista DelyMar, this milestone is more than receiving a certificate—it is an opportunity to continue improving our craft, elevating the dining experience of our guests, and proudly showcasing the rich flavors and warm hospitality of Surigao del Sur.
