𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! ☕🤎

Grateful for the opportunity to be invited to lead the Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Philippine Coffee Brewer League (PCBL) Iloilo Leg.

Beyond the competition, what made this trip even more special were the wonderful people we met, the newfound friendships, and the chance to witness just how strong and passionate the coffee community is here.

Such a beautiful place with even more beautiful people. 🫶

It was a quick trip kaya sobrang bitin! But one thing’s for sure, babalik babalikan!

Thank you for the warm welcome, the connections, and the memories.

See you all this November for the grandest stage of them all! 🏆☕

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣? 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝙗𝙖𝙧.

Last September 29 in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, we had the privilege of being invited as one of the judges for the 23rd Pabbalat Festival’s 1st Coffee Brewing Competition.

It was great to see familiar brewers behind the bar, but even more exciting to see new faces joining in, another sign that our coffee brewing community continues to grow in the province.

We look forward to seeing these brewers someday share the stage and battle brews with other outstanding community brewers from across the Philippines and why not, maybe internationally too, d ba?. 🇵🇭🌏

And then from Bagabag, the brew journey continued down south. Just a couple of days later, we found ourselves in Iloilo City, this time helping behind the scenes with the Iloilo Specialty Coffee Association Inc. community and Philippine Coffee Brewer League 2024 in which we crowned a PCBL Champion yesterday!! Yeeey!! 👋😊✌️

But that’s another brew story. ☕️

Tomorrow marks the 1st Bagabag Coffee Festival, happening as part of the celebration of the 23rd Pabbalat Festival and with it comes Bagabag’s first-ever Coffee Brewing Competition! 🏆☕

We’re happy to see another Nueva Vizcaya town creating a space where local coffee, producers, and brewers can be celebrated and appreciated.

And we’re honored that we have been invited to sit as one of the judges for this milestone competition. 🤎

Congratulations to the Municipality of Bagabag and everyone behind the 1st Bagabag Coffee Festival and 23rd Pabbalat Festival!

Cahaya is putting together a brewing competition, and we’d love to see some familiar and new faces behind the competition table.

Meet our new 𝒫𝑒𝒶𝓃𝓊𝓉 𝐵𝓊𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝑀𝒶𝓅𝓁𝑒 𝒞𝒾𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓂𝑜𝓃 𝑅𝑜𝓁𝓁𝓈, crafted by James of Kano Cafe.

James brings a little of his American baking influence to this one, soft, gooey cinnamon roll with peanut butter, maple, and just the right amount of sweetness.

We enjoy bringing you bakes and pastries made by passionate bakers we are happy to work with, each with their own specialties, style, and story. And this is another one we’re excited for you to try.

Because good coffee deserves something good on the side, too. ☕️😄

𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗲.
