“On this Mother’s Day, we pause to honor one of God’s most beautiful gifts to humanity—MOTHERS.”
The Bible says in Proverbs 31:28, “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”
A godly mother reflects the heart of God in a powerful way. Through her love, sacrifice, patience, and prayers, she often becomes the first glimpse of grace a child ever sees.
Motherhood is not only about giving life, but also about giving love that shapes life. Many times, a mother’s work is unseen, her prayers are silent, and her strength is quiet—but heaven sees it all. God values what the world often overlooks.
In Isaiah 66:13, God says, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”
This shows us that a mother’s comfort is a reflection of God’s own heart. The way a mother embraces, protects, and nurtures is a picture of divine love in action.
Today we also remember that not every heart has an easy story with motherhood. Some carry grief, some carry longing, and some carry wounds. But the gospel reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted. He redeems pain, restores joy, and brings hope where it feels lost.
So today we celebrate mothers—those with us and those we remember. We honor their sacrifices, we thank God for their love, and we pray strength over their lives.
And above all, we look to Christ, who gave us the greatest example of love—selfless, sacrificial, and eternal.
