The 4th Marine “Makusug” Brigade will proudly host the Ilocos Norte edition of the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) Marathon 2025 on October 19, 2025 at Ferdinand E Marcos Memorial Stadium, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. This event is in partnership with the Philippine Marine Corps Officers’ Spouses Association, Inc. (PMCOSAI) and the Philippine Marine Corps Foundation, Inc. (PMCFI). A nationwide series of PMC Marathon, which endeavors to promote unity, physical fitness, and a stronger bond between the Marines and the communities they serve.

The Laoag, Ilocos Norte leg will bring together military personnel, civilian participants, local government officials, stakeholders, and fitness enthusiasts in a merriment of camaraderie, resilience, and service. More than just a race, the PMC Marathon serves as a meaningful gathering to honor the sacrifices of our Marines and promote solidarity across all walks of life.

Proceeds from the event will assist in the following:

1. Provide college scholarships to PMCOSAI scholars;
2. Support the children of wounded and fallen Marines; and
3. Support our troops deployed in strategic border and island detachments, safeguarding our national sovereignty.

By participating in the PMC Marathon 2025 – Ilocos Norte Edition, runners not only embrace the spirit of endurance and teamwork but also make a real difference in the lives of our Marines and their families.

Nomad Coffee was broken into last Tuesday at around 1 AM. This wasn’t the first attempt—there have been multiple break-in attempts before this incident.

The intruders cut the main wire connected to our power source. While we acknowledge areas where our security can be improved, acts like this should never be tolerated. We're sharing this as a reminder for everyone to stay alert and take extra precautions.

If anyone has any information that could help identify those responsible, please reach out. Your support means everything.
