There was a quiet kind of joy that filled the table that evening. It was their son's special day, and though a few chairs sat empty, no one truly felt the absence.

Phones were placed gently beside plates, screens lighting up with familiar faces from faraway places, a brother calling in between, a sister sending voice messages from another country, each greeting carried warmth that distance could never diminish. It wasn't perfect, but it was real.

School vacation is here, but this time, their laughter echoes not within it's walls but inside a cozy little bistro they had wandered into together. It wasn't grand or extravagant, just a quiet space filled with soft light and the comforting aroma of simple, freshly prepared food.

These siblings settled into their seats, sharing plates that were modest, yet refreshing. Meals that somehow brought them closer with every bite.

It isn't about anything grand, just a simple plate of the pasta their Grandfather Lolo Paris loved, made with care and brought with even more love. Ate Jhona Romualdo smiled while Dodong Vince just stood quietly, knowing that sometimes, the smallest gestures carry the deepest meaning.

Good food has always been more than nourishment. It reaches places words cannot, holding people close in ways that linger.
