Can you believe it? Tomatoes were once thought to be POISONOUS?! Yep, back in the 1700s, European aristocrats were convinced that these juicy red fruits (yes, they're technically a fruit!) would kill them just because they're part of the nightshade family!

Fast forward to today, and we can't imagine life without them! At Crust and Crumb Cafe, we're obsessed with our tomato sauce and banana ketchup - the perfect additions to our all-day breakfast meals!
