It was October of 2015 when Thomas Sproten and his wife Bombee decided to leave Indonesia to settle in Bacolod City where hectares of sugarcane fields abound. Though dabbling in sugarcane farming like everyone else in Negros, Thomas’ first love will always be coffee. He was working with one of the biggest traders of coffee in the world and is a Q-Arabica and Q-Robusta grader and also a CQI-Q Instr

uctor. He soon realized that there is a vacuum in the coffee scene where his skills can be put to good use. Together with friends Antoni Espinos and Matxu Alonso, they decided to put up Coffee Culture Roastery. Coffee Culture Roastery is an artisan coffee roaster that offers customized roasting and blending of local and international coffees, direct green bean coffee sourcing Philippine coffee farmers, coffee brewing and cupping workshops and coffee business consultancies. The company is dedicated to its commitment in delivering excellent quality for every budget. Clients are treated as friends and service is personalized to each individual’s preferences and needs.
