They say a cat’s love is eternal—and a 9,500-year-old grave in Cyprus proves it.
Long before Egypt’s pyramids, a young African wildcat was buried just 40 cm from its human, complete with seashells and stone tools.
Cats weren’t native to the island, meaning these ancient “cat people” brought them as companions.
This discovery shows that the human–cat bond is one of history’s oldest friendships. ❤️🌍
