Show up for your health like you show up for work.
You dont like going to work but you show up daily anyway because it provides you bread and butter.
Well guess what happens to your job when your health fails?
Invest in your health like you invest in your social responsibilities.
You dont like committing sometimes but you still gotta invest your time and energy because there is an expectation on you to lead by example.
Well guess what happens when your health fails? Will you continue to lead by example?
Prioritize your health like you prioritize your family. It should be non negotiable.
Well guess what happens to your family when your health fails? Who takes care of your family?
Health, wellness and fitness activities are treated like a trend these days (we get hyped up for awhile then we lose momentum)
We treat eating junk food, chewing betel nut, drinking alcohol, not exercising and not investing in our health as our norm.
We are so comfortable with this lifestyle because it is our norm. It is easy.
Well guess what happens when our health fails?
Who carries the burden of taking you to the hospital?
Who carries the burden of paying your medical bills?
Who carries the burden of taking care of your children because you no longer work?
Who carries the burden of looking after you because the hospital cannot do much?
Who carries the burden of taking care of you 24/7 because you no longer have the privilege to be independent?
