At our Gourmet restaurant, Tipairua, Chef Guillaume Cornu and Xavier Thuizat, Best Sommelier of France 2022, Meilleur Ouvrier de France in Sommellerie, and Michelin Guide Sommelier of the Year 2024, invited guests on a journey through time, where each pairing revealed not only flavors, but also the stories, traditions, and personalities that have shaped the world of w**e.

Inspired by the richness of French Polynesia and elevated by carefully selected w**es, every course celebrated the meeting of terroir, craftsmanship, and emotion. More than a dinner, it was a tribute to the art of hospitality, where every glass and every plate became a gateway to discovery.

Last Saturday, the pae pae at Le Taha'a became a place for tradition, rhythm and memory.

We were honoured to welcome Tamarii Ruutia de Tiva, laureates of Le Heiva i Taha'a 2026, who shared through dance a story of ancestral navigation, a journey across the ocean, carried through gesture.

The evening continued with the fire dance of our own team, casting light across the night.

A living heritage, passed from one generation to the next, and a celebration we are happy to support, year after year.
