New Kindy Progress 🏗️☀️

A big milestone on the new kindy today with the concrete floor poured on a beautiful sunny day.

There’s been plenty happening on site to get to this stage — digger work completed, drainage installed, ground prepared and compacted, concrete block install, boxing and reinforcing completed, concrete foundations.

Next week we move above ground, with the frames arriving and installation getting underway. The new kindy will really start taking shape from here!

🚧 New Kindergarten Under Construction – 36 Wilson Street 🚧

We’re excited to have work underway on the new kindergarten at 36 Wilson Street!

To help keep the project running safely and efficiently, we’d like to ask the Geraldine community if you could please leave the two car parks directly in front of the building site at 36 Wilson Street available for our trades and deliveries.

Monday to Friday | 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

We understand parking can be busy, and we really appreciate your patience and support while we complete this project. Keeping these spaces available helps our team access the site safely and keeps the build moving efficiently.

Another exciting shed home taking shape! 🏡🔨

Matt and Ben from the RN Building team are making great progress on this project. Inside, the grooved ceilings and ply walls with negative detail joins are now being installed, creating a warm, modern finish.

Outside, the combination of LMA timber cladding and 5 Rib Colorsteel® is coming together beautifully, giving this shed home a striking, low-maintenance exterior that will stand the test of time.

We can’t wait to show you more as this build continues to come together.

Progress rolling on nicely at the baxter build with the thermally broken windows now fully installed, Ply Eco Barrier wrapped around the exterior, and cavity battens being fixed off ready for the Colorsteel cladding.

This stage is all about making the home weathertight, energy efficient, and built to handle New Zealand conditions for years to come. The thermally broken joinery helps reduce heat transfer and condensation, while the cavity system behind the cladding allows airflow and drainage to protect the structure long term.

Once the Colorsteel starts going on, this home will really start to show its final look. Plenty of detail going into this one and the RN Building team are proud to see it all coming together. 🔨
