To our incredible Kafe family,
After four years of early morning starts, great coffee and great conversations, the time has come for me to share some big news…
Kafé will soon be passing into new hands!
This decision hasn’t been made lightly, Kafé has been so much more than a business to me and my family. It’s been a place of community, day after day - the regulars who became friends, the birthdays, the catch-ups, the quiet mornings watching the river go by. You all have made Kafé the community that it is and for that, I will always be deeply grateful. We’re incredibly grateful that we got to be part of your lives, sharing in some of the highlights and lowlights of life, for a little while.
The new owners are excited and committed to everything that makes Kafé special. The waterfront, the coffee, the team and the warm welcome you’ve always received, that’s not going anywhere.
To every single person who has walked through our doors, pulled up a chair or simply made Kafé part of your routine — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It has been an honour to serve this community. We’ll be around over the next week as we work through the handover, so feel free to come and say hello and goodbye and most importantly, have one more coffee with us. 😉
