As the festive season draws to a close, the sound of cicadas fades and the sky gradually fills with autumnal clouds.
In Japan, autumn is known as âMinori no akiâ, a term that refers to the bountiful season when crops such as rice, fruit and vegetables come to fruition and the harvest begins. It is a season that best captures the abundance of food available throughout the year. Letâs all celebrate the arrival of autumn, enjoy plenty of delicious food, and stay healthy in both body and mind as we head into the colder months!
Kazagurumaâs upcoming schedule is as follows:
KIWAMI course Menu Update: Autumn/Winter Menu.
Weâve designed menus perfect for autumn and winter!
âShio yakiâ salmon
Weâve paired simply grilled, melty salmon with a fragrant scallion (spring onion) sauce, and the slightly bitter kale underneath provides a nice accent.
Furthermore, the rice, gently seasoned with edamame and kumara, complements everything perfectly, bringing it all together deliciously. This is a beautiful dish that expresses âMinorino Akiâ
A5 Wagyu Shabu Shabu
Shabu-shabu is the perfect way to enjoy the highest grade Wagyu beef.
The rich broth, made with plenty of katsuobushi and konbu, is infused with the delicious flavours of Wagyu beef and various vegetables. Weâve also included a variety of condiments so you can enjoy the soup to the very last drop. Itâs sure to warm you up nicely.
The season for enjoying hot sake is just begging. We recommend our Tenzan sake, which has a gentle umami flavour that compliments a wide range of dishesđ¶
Furthermore, we will be holding our âSunday Ramen Lunchâ events in May, June and Julyđ
Once again, we will be introducing popular local ramen from Japan. Details will be announced shortly. Please look forward to it.
We have also updated part of our regular Ă la carte menu this month.
Please do take a look at the full menu, including our drinks menu, on our website.
We will be open as usual on Good Friday and Anzac Day in April!
We look forward to welcoming you, along with your loved ones đ
