On a cold, stormy Wellington night, mana whenua Te Ātiawa, alongside Wellington Writers Walk and Wellington City Council, unveiled something truly special—the first poem sculpture fully in Te Reo Māori, written by Ben Ngaia. Set along Te Papa Promenade, this piece invites reflection, connection, and interaction. The evening continued with warmth, kai, and kōrero at Whairepo Café—celebrating the people and passion behind this moment. Designers David Hakaria and Tama Whiting did a fantastic job alongside Human Dynamo - Mouri Ora!
