Bethells cafe are beginning to book bands (not djs at this stage) for the coming season. If you know a band you'd like to see, or are a band thatd like to play, nows the time to get in touch ❣️

There are roughly 25 friday and saturdays to be filled, ive filled some already, but the more the merrier. Please note that family friendly music is our flavour as it is essentially an all ages venue ❣️

Kia ora! Apologies there is a valley wide power cut on tuesday which means we cannot open ❣️

Cafe open 10-5 this whole week!

Please dont forget to book in for the soup/chowder/chai/fresh sourdough/homemade apple crumble special this saturday 3-4pm if you are interested ❣️

Kia ora!

Our chef Maja and i are going roll out a new winter saturday soup/stew special this winter while its colder 🩵

This will be in take away format as oppsed to oir sit down pop up restaurant, but if you would like to sit we can accomodate this of course 💕

Below is the first menu, and our first date will be 13th june, 3pm ongoing. It'll be bookings have priority, and whatever is left will be open to the public (we appreciate the in advance bookings as it helps with food cost, number predictions and gurantees there will be enough for you❣️)

Looks like another fine week ahead of us so the bethells beach cafe will be open 10-5(!) Monday to monday, open for kings birthday weekend also. This week, closing an hour earlier as it's quite dark by 6 now ✨️

We've been awarded something cool 😎

Its been an intense process over the years keeping our little community cafe, venue space, cultural hub, community hub alive. I have given every ounce of energy i have, blood sweat and tears to not just keep it open, but keep it ALIVE. its so incredible to be recognized ✨️

Couldn't have achieved this without the outstanding support of our locals and cafe regulars, the staff, the friends and everyone behind the scenes ♥️

P.s the nomination is a personal recipe I learnt to cook during my time in Sri Lanka so im extra chuffed 😎✨️🌱

Mōrena amazing day this Tuesday! We are going to close the cafe tuesday after a massive anzac weekend and so we can get ready for our pop up restaurant this coming Thursday,

We will reopen Wednesday through sunday 10-6
