We are searching for a Junior Chef! Be the latest addition in a well-loved Restaurant with a strong presence in Kapiti.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Minimum relevant experience of 1 year.
- Reliability and Flexibility.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Continental (European) cuisine.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting and working together with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare, cook, and plate food.
- Maintain a clean workspace as per our health and safety guidelines.
- Helping the team with stock-takes and menu planning.

Applicants for this position must have NZ citizenship, residency or a valid work visa.

The festive season is here again!

Celebrate Christmas day with your family and friends at Maison8, home of Kapiti's finest food!

We will be running 3 sessions this year with the following times:
- Session 1 is from 11am until 1pm.
- Session 2 is from 2pm until 4pm.
- Session 3 is from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.

The price this year will be $120 per person with a $20 per person advanced deposit to secure your booking. Spaces are becoming very limited so make your reservations quickly via the following options:
