It's just a really good f**en toastie.

The Pit Stop is officially on at the Tasting Room, as part of the Great NZ Toastie Takeover.

Built on toasted Dough Bakery boule, with smoked brisket, melted Swiss cheese, crunchy McClure's pickles and sharp mustard. Rich, smoky brisket and creamy Swiss, lifted by the tangy crunch of pickles and mustard. Bold and balanced, big on flavour.

New on the taps. 🍺

The Randall. NZ Hazy IPA, 6.3%. A hybrid built from two of our own: the NZ IPA hops of The Vandal dropped into the hazy base of Rat Rod.

Tropical and stone-fruit up front, pine and citrus underneath. Soft and juicy, then resinous and punchy.

Named after the Hop Randall, the trick of running beer through a chamber of hops on the way to the glass for extra oomph.

Pouring now at the Tasting Room.

Birra Rara. Italian for "rare beer" and that's exactly what this is. 🍇🛢️
Our barrel aged Italian Grape Ale clocks in at 6.8% and is brewed in support of Rare Disorders NZ as part of the Rare Beer Festival. Think grape-forward, smooth, and complex, aged in barrels until it sits somewhere beautifully between a craft ale and a fine red.

The Peach Ale pairing is back. If you missed it the first time, that's on you.
Batch 337 is soft and sweet on the nose, clean and light in the glass. The chef used the ale as the base of the sticky chicken sauce. Two things made for each other.

HEADS UP: TASTING ROOM CLOSED WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
The Tasting Room won't be open to the public on Wednesday evenings for a period this winter.
We're closing the Tasting Room to the public every Wednesday from 22nd April, but will be opening again Wednesday 5th August and we hope to see you then.
In the meantime, we've still got the rest of the week covered. Find us Thursday 12pm–9pm through to Sunday 12pm–8pm.

Back for round two, and still the best $20 you'll spend this week.
Batch 346 Hazy Sour. Grapefruit, pineapple and guava, with that sharp tartness that makes it one of the more interesting pours we've put out. Paired with pork belly in a sweet peach sauce. Cuts the richness. Makes every bite better.

Closed for Good Friday but we'll be back Saturday and Sunday with something worth the wait. Batch 346 Hazy Sour. American-style sour with a hazy twist. Paired with pork belly in a sweet peach-based sauce. The sour cuts straight through the sweetness.
