It’s goodbye, for now…

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Zest Restaurant.
Our last trading day will be Sunday 5th October 2025.

After three wonderful years of serving this incredible community, we’ve made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Zest and turn the page to a brand new chapter.

The last three years have been filled with countless memories that will stay with us forever. From our amazing team to our loyal guests, we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to share our passion for hospitality with. You’ve allowed us to do what we love every single day, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

To all the friends we’ve made along the way, the regulars who became family, and everyone who walked through our doors - we want to thank you for being part of this incredible journey with Zest. Your support and loyalty has been at the heart of everything we’ve done and will continue to inspire us into our next new chapter.

So, with that being said, as the saying goes - whilst one door closes, another one opens.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be busy refitting the space to launch our new venue. Why the change? We’ve evolved and so has our vision. We wanted to create a brand that better reflects our creativity and passion for the hospitality industry. With a new name and a fresh look, we’re ready to bring even more excitement, innovation and flavour to 4a Elizabeth Place.

We can’t wait for you to experience what we’ve been so busy building.

Wow, we raised $1000 for Timaru Plunket!

Not quite sure what the weather thinks it’s up to, but one thing we do know is that today is International Coffee Day 😃

We make a decent cup here at Zest, so come and see us and also try our amazing Opera Cake. Its house made and coffee flavoured, so on point for today 👌🏻
