You may recognise Harriet (who was our lovely barista), who has recently headed back to Ukraine with her partner Jason to continue their humanitarian work.

In 2024, they started their own humanitarian project Never Alone - Humanitarian using her catering skills and Jason’s back country experience to provide fresh food to people living near the frontline. Together, they’ve now delivered more than 5,000 fresh meals to displaced people, children, soldiers and communities living under Russian attack. How incredible is that?

They value every donation and use it as wisely as possible. Our meals cost less than $2 per serve while also being nutritious, tasty, and sustaining, so truly every dollar makes a difference.

From the outside, we're a humble little shipping container cafe. But inside? We're filled with scrummy-made-from-scratch food, warm drinks to defrost your fingers, friendly faces and a whole lot of community.

On any given morning you'll find tradies grabbing a coffee before work, locals spinning a yarn over a flat white, parents squeezing in a moment of calm after the school drop-off, walkers fresh from the waterfall with their pooches and kids playing.
Thanks for making our little corner of Welcome Bay feel so special. We wouldn't have it any other way. When do you pop into Pippy's?

Every morning, Pippy is up early baking fresh muffins, scones, pies, sausage rolls from scratch. After cheffing all over the world, we're pretty lucky she's chosen Welcome Bay as home.
Some of our favourite muffin flavours including:
-Apple, Cinnamon + Walnut
-Blueberry + Lemon
-Plum + Custard
-Banana Salted Caramel

Awww, we absolutely love this, thanks Ray. We’re pretty chuffed to hear we are the "hidden gem". We feel pretty lucky to be tucked away here amongst the trees, with plenty of space to slow down and enjoy your coffee and food.

We have a little Pippy's story to tell you...The Great Cronut Story.

A tired Mum (her words, not ours!) came in with her 4-year-old daughter and they decided to get a cronut to share. Mum did the right thing and cut it in half. Her daughter happily ran off to play, leaving Mum to enjoy her half in peace.

She savoured every single mouthful... then glanced over at her daughter, blissfully playing on the swings. And ate the other half too. Oops. 😬

Her daughter came running back.. "Mummy, what happened? Did a seagull get it?"
Feeling slightly shameful, Mum and daughter joined the queue to get another cronut. But just as they got to the front, the guy in front of them bought the last one. Oh no.
Mum confessed the whole story to Matt, and as fate would have it, the lovely guy who had just bought the last cronut overheard the conversation. And then... he did the loveliest thing. He gifted them his cronut.

A happy ending to the Great Cronut Caper, and a beautiful reminder that the Pippy's community really is something special.

Also, Mum... we don't judge. We've all been there. 😂 So the lesson is …. a Cronut is simply too good to share. 🥐🤤
