Three months ago, I was doing a market while juggling three jobs, my apprenticeship, being a mum, and being a wife. 🥹💪🏼 I was exhausted, stretched thin, and honestly just doing what I could. My cakesicles were mostly simple marble designs 🤍 not because I lacked creativity, but because that was all I had the time and energy for.
Fast forward to now… ✨ After having a break from my apprenticeship and finally having more time to put into my craft, the difference is huge. 🥹🌸 I’ve created beaches 🏖️, honey bees 🐝🍯, flower gardens 🌸🦋, snowflakes ❄️ and rodeo 🤠🐴 designs I can actually be proud of and that show what I’m capable of when I have the time to create.
Looking back at these two versions of myself makes me realise that the difference was never my ability. ❤️ It was the time, energy and space I had to actually let my creativity come through. ✨🎨
And honestly… I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come. 🥹💜
