My boys looooove Ube Cake and before I started selling my cake slices I would have some crumbs left for them to share but not anymore 🥲 and the 3yo asks for Ube cake every time he sees me baking.

Today we stayed home so when he asked for cake I decided to make them these mini muffins 💜 how cute are they? 🥹

I almost didn’t make it 🫣🫠

Yesterday I left my house at 5:42pm to deliver fresh Ube Cake Slices and Dulce de Leche Cake Slices to i LUV Asian Store in Morrinsville and they close at 6 pm 🥹 but we made it! My boys are so patient with me and all that involves running this business 💜

Soooooo, your favourite cakes are waiting for you today 🤩

I have SO many videos like this one sitting in my phone that I’ve never posted, simply because I feel embarrassed about speaking English on camera 😅

I worry about making mistakes, saying something wrong or people not understanding what I’m trying to say. But I don’t want to keep doing this to myself.

If I want my little business to grow, I need to put myself out there, step out of my comfort zone, and stop being ashamed of something that shouldn’t stop me from sharing what I do.

English isn’t my first language, and that’s okay. I’m still learning, and just like everyone else, I’m allowed to make mistakes💜

So, here it is: my first video of many (I hope🤞🏻)

I didn’t edit it or I would’ve deleted it 10 times before posting. I only changed the speed as what I thought it was “a short video” turned into a 3 minutes video 🫠

Here’s to being brave enough to start before we feel ready 🥹✨

My husband, my 2yo and I went grocery shopping this morning and got home around 12 pm. I put my little one down for his nap, and while I was feeding him to sleep, my mum texted asking if I was available for a video call

Me: Yes, in 5 minutes ☺️

Also me: falls asleep with my toddler 🫠

We never had that video call because I just woke up and it’s 2:30 pm! Sorry mum!

Very little baking happening this week, and I think my body is finally resenting all those late nights and early baking mornings I’ve had over the last month 😴 Apparently, my body has decided it’s time to collect all those missed hours of sleep

Tell me I’m not the only mum who accidentally takes a 2.5 hour nap while putting their child to sleep? 🫣

Last week, we were getting ready for my kitchen verification, and the whole family was put to work 🧽✨ It was also a good time to mow the lawns and tidy up our yard!

Everyone worked hard, especially my oldest, who was actually a great little helper 🥹💜

Meanwhile, my two youngest were busy with their very important jobs: playing 😅

They say teamwork makes the dream work, right? Just not everyone got the same job description 🙃
