Open Friday 7th August 2026. Thin cover with some bare spots but plenty of snow to have a good time at a reduced cost. Come on up for an Anderson pie , escape coffee and slide in the white stuff. Will update on conditions in the morning. Thanks to our sponsors eftpos Taranaki - Primo - Bruce the Builder - Corkill Electrical and all our Volunteers that help throughout the year. Thank you Stratford District Council , Fulton Hogan and Hart Contracting for clearing the road (a thankless task). Catch you up there tomorrow.

Update

ROAD CLOSED AT THE PARK GATES. ROAD IS NOT EXPECTED TO OPEN UNTIL MID DAY. At present - Wednesday 5th August 2026 - there is a full cover on the Skifield with some thin patches on the ridges. Minus 3.9 degrees with a moderate wind. We will not be opening the lower field until the road is open so will keep you updated.
