Our first Coffee Card Winners of 2026! 🎉

There’s no better way to start the year than shouting coffee for some of our regulars.

A big congrats to Madi and Elsie, our December winners who love to feed the animals and grab a sneaky hot chocolate.

Also to Helen, our January winner who is a regular for an afternoon cuppa with her husband. It’s always a joy to see your faces.

Susi is one of our leopard geckos, small but seriously cool. From her spot under the heat lamp, she keeps a close eye on what’s happening in the world.

She might not ask for pats, but she’s full of fun facts:
– Leopard geckos can live up to 15 years in captivity
– They have about 100 teeth, and replace them every few months
– Their tails store energy and can even grow back if lost!
– Suzi’s colour can change depending on mood and environment
– Oh… and they have eyelids. Yep, that’s rare for a lizard.

Spot her in the tank? Give her a wave, she might blink back. 👀

Why are geckos natural born storytellers?
Because they always leave their tail behind. 😉

School Holiday Colouring Competition

Got a little artist at home? Grab an entry form from the counter, let the kids get creative, and drop it back to us by 31 January to be in the draw. We’ll be announcing the winners on 7 February, with some great prizes thanks to Wattie’s NZ
