We are firm believers in happy children=happy parents which is why we have introduced new animals to the farm yard, enlarged the children's play area and put in a bouncy castle. Swimming in the pond has become the thing to do. I was quite anxious at the start because the water does not look overly clean, but so far no one's gotten sick so I'm counting ourselves lucky… As soon as the kids get home from school this is the place they want to be.

Paisley has a massive bird phobia, but it's amazing to see her slowly overcoming this, swimming in the pond is a massive tuning point! 😎πŸ₯Ή

There's so much more to Flat hills than just the areas that are accessible to the public, cannot wait to get our animal encounters more established so we can share more of this place with more people.

I just want to do a HUGE shout out to YOU! Every single person that comes to Flat Hills customers, sales reps, delivery people, tradesmen and everyone else in between!

To everyone who came in during the holidays, I hope you made the most of the holiday programme, our animals and the unique space that we have here. You make a choice when you stop here and we greatly appreciate that you make this choice πŸ™

We had a MASSIVE school holidays and the staff of Flat Hills were blooming LEGENDS, served with a smile, prepared food, drink and our environment with pride and worked as such a strong team. Jack and I are so privileged to work alongside each and EVERY one of them. Love the laughs, sing alongs and fails hahaha!

Last year was the hardest year of my working life, I lost who I was and was stuck in a cycle of misery!! To now be here is such a blessing. I love EVERY SINGLE day of work, there has not yet been a day I do not want to go! I sooo get the saying that if you love what you do, you'll never work another day in your life!

And to Jack, another part that makes this whole thing so magic for me! To work alongside you each day is something else I am grateful for, thanks for doing all the things no one notices and looking after me so well, so I can do what I do!!

Whether you stopped in for a coffee or a custard square, brought the kids to see the animals and have a play, tackled the maze, stayed with us, or simply stopped for a break on your journey; thank you for choosing Flat Hills.

There were definitely some busy moments and we especially want to thank everyone for your patience, kindness and understanding when things got a little hectic.

More than anything, we loved the atmosphere you all brought with you. Seeing families relaxing, kids running around, animals getting plenty of attention and the café buzzing was exactly what we want Flat Hills to be. ❀️
