Well… We've been pretty slack on the introductions lately, but a new team means some fresh(ish) faces deserve the spotlight.
Meet our fun-loving, easy-going USA gal - Kennedy.

Kennedy’s been with us since January and has quickly become known for her quick wit, chronically online humour, and elite gamer-girl energy.

She’s into all things sci-fi, beers on tap, and card games with friends. Since joining us, she’s also introduced us to new vocal stims, questionable drawings, and some truly unspeakable stories from her wild and winding life.

This gal’s travelled far and wide, from van life across the United States to beach-bumming her way through Thailand and somehow still ended up here with us.

She’s got a heart of gold, brings the laughs daily, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful to have her around.

We’re less than a week out from the EOS 2026 Party, and the crew from Atlas & QMTBC would like to give a huge shoutout to these local legends for their generous donations so far. ⚓

We're also lucky enough to score kegs from some of our favourite breweries, & those kegs allow you guys to help raise money whilst drinking.

Every year, these businesses & some new ones help us give back to the riding community, which allows us to continue to support and maintain the trails we all know and love.

Without the backing of local businesses like these, events like ours simply wouldn’t be possible.

We'll start tapping some of the karma kegs throughout the week & start getting some more funds sailing into the local trails & club. We're also still selling all the raffle tickets, which are available for purchase for all the treasure we've had donated to us.

Throughout the week we'll have more treasure still to come.

This year we're doing things a little differently...

Instead of a live auction for the season pass, we want to give you guys the chance to win it for only $10 (A TENNER). 👀
We'll be selling raffle tickets for this pass very soon.

No limit on raffles purchased – this is so all our efforts and proceeds can go back to the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club!

The verdict’s in - no dining restrictions this weekend! 🍻
So consider this your official summons to the bar for a cold one (or two).
We’ll be here, taps flowing and good times pending 🐰

Another set of very familiar faces are flying the nest… and yep, it’s a bittersweet one this week.

Lynn & Lotte - two top-tier Dutch legends who absolutely blew us away with their skills, energy, and elite banter. After over two years of travelling, it’s time for you both to head back home, and we’re bloody grateful we got to be part of your journey along the way.

This week we raise a glass and say farewell - so swing by, grab a drink, and help us send these two off properly. They’ve made the past year an absolute joy and left their mark on our cosy little beer café in the best way possible.

Wishing you both nothing but good times, big adventures, and plenty of cold beers wherever you land next. Thank you for choosing us - we’ll miss you heaps.

This week we’re saying goodbye to one of our longest-standing locals and a memorable character at that, Paul.

Where do we even begin? You’ve been with us through it all and have been a constant familiar face around the tavern. Whether it was your questionable English banter or you once again putting your foot firmly in it, you always kept things entertaining (even if you didn’t mean to).

You truly made the most of all the benefits that ACC has to offer while employed here – honestly, an inspiration to us all. Well done, mate.
The tavern won’t be the same without your comments or your uncanny ability to say the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time.
Come down this week and say goodbye to Paul, a walking HR incident and someone who’s made the past years unforgettable for us all. His last shift will be on Friday.

All the best for the next adventure, Paul. Thanks for everything… and try not to put your foot in it too much in Canada. 🍺❤

What a wild 10 days it’s been here at our little venue; we're always stoked to be part of this special event.
Wishing everyone an amazing time up at Dream Jam today as we remember Kelly, 10 years on.
The energy and vibes have been unreal.
We’ll be here afterwards for some well-earned pints 🍻

Today we are highlighting a true local legend of Atlas.
A man who brightens our days and regularly makes us question whether we can actually uphold the high standard of banter he brings to the table.

Before Christmas, Quentin headed north to Auckland with a grand plan: pedal his way all the way back to Queenstown. He dubbed it the “Tour de Aotearoa”.
Family time was had, sights were seen, and after an epic journey, we were lucky enough to be graced with his arrival last night.

From the top of the South Island, this legend spent eight days heading south - pure grit, some lycra and determination. 17 days in total. 2009km's. 20,866 meters climbed!

“All good rides end at Atlas.”

A man, his bike, and a well-deserved pint at the end of the road.
Truly living up to the name we gave him: Lycra Man Q. 🍺🚴‍♂️
