We really wanted to finish off with perfect Chop Shop experience to everyone.
But we now have 3 staff down from a already bare minimum team which means we’re simply unable to deliver the full service….
So, sadly, we will be open for TAKEAWAY ONLY for the last three days.

It is with a mixed bag of emotion that we announce that The Chop Shop will be permanently closing on Friday 24th March at 3pm, and this winter, we will bring you a much needed new Japanese restaurant to Arrowtown!
Please know this decision came with a great deal of thought (and tears). We have loved our time at The Chop Shop and so appreciate each and every customer and staff member that we have had the privilege of knowing over the past 6 years.
So if you are in the neighbourhood, make sure to pop in and get a final fix of Turkish Eggs!

Oh and if you are keen to carry on The Chop Shop legacy with the whole repertoire of our recipes including THE Nasi Goreng and Turkish Eggs, get in touch! Food/Coffee truck maybe😉? I’m sure almost 4k of the Chop Shop supporters would love you for it 🙂
