INVEST IN YOURSELF, or in a new fridge.

I'm driving to Christchurch tonight, sleeping in the back of a bunnings rental van, and then returning tomorrow with a huge new fridge. This is a small business owner doing small business things.

Hopefully we'll be back open on Thursday, if not it will be Friday, or Saturday at the Remarks Market.

On Saturday I had an emotional farewell with little Beebs. She's on her way to being someone else's dream now 🧡

Nearly 3 years ago I said goodbye to the reliable security of paid employment and discovered the joy and freedom of being my own boss bitch. I don't away pay myself well (or at all) and I don't always love my job, I have definitely made mistakes along the way, but the joy of being able to bring delicious healthy food to my customers is a kind of rewarding I've never known before. At some point, everyone should take a chance on themselves and see if doing what they love can be your full time job.

Now that little beebs is gone and big beebs is permanently at 65 shotover street, the new GAZEBES chapter is ready to be told.
