Some people just light up a room the moment they walk in.

Tessa is one of those people.

She'll call you "beautiful" before she even knows your name. Her laugh is contagious. Her energy is the kind you want to bottle. And if you've spent more than five minutes in Motueka, chances are you already know exactly who she is.

Tessa owns Muses Café with her equally vibacious sister Sarah, and honestly, these two are a force of nature. Loud, hilarious, passionate, and completely devoted to what they do.

The food? Outstanding. Their gluten free range is genuinely brilliant, not an afterthought, actually brilliant. Savoury baking that'll make you want to come back twice in the same week. (No judgement. I do it.)

I've known Tessa since we were tiny humans at primary school together. We lost touch for years, and then I moved back to Motueka, and there she was, same big smile, same beautiful energy, just with better scones.

Supporting Tessa and Sarah means supporting two locals who pour everything they have into this town. Pop in, say hi, and let Tessa call you beautiful. You'll leave happier than you arrived.
