Well for my lovely customers and friends and followers from all over...an update follows.
On Saturday 24th September, around 11pm we had an electrical fire out the back of the fish n chip shop. As you can see, there was quite substantial damage.
Luckily, no one was hurt and it was no one's fault and a complete freaky accident, however, it will be a while before the shop is re-open.
It breaks my heart to see the last 8 n a half years in 3 skips and 4 trailers, but mostly I feel sad for my long serving friends, family and locals that have supported me over this time.
We bought thos wee landmark back in 2013 as a small family business and I have loved working for this wee community and seeing your smiley faces and hearing your tales and adventures.
Thanks to my staff and helpful friends over this time too!! And there are a few.....Barbara Jones (snr), Dorothy Rakuraku (Smith), Wendy Shields, Ashlee Meadowcroft, Chance Steer, Jahmilia Norgate, Kohine Anderson, Mandy Platt, Caitlin Stanley, Nathan Ferguson, Atanatu Holder, Barbara Jones, Olympia Jenna, Ainsley Neill, Annette Hillis, Nick Sewell, Jade Steer, Lorraine Cross, Siobhan Barclay-Hall Brookee Norgate, Annabel Mako, Lyrik Mako, Mihi Raj, Georgine Raj, Pare Raj, Carmen Rosetta, Siobhan Grant, Helen Mills, Marara Gane, Nataly Lowe, Nikita McGrannachan-Maru, Roni Skipper, Taylah Page, Seth Cross, Liam Tredo and my gorgeous boys Matthew, Callum and Joshua Rowe!!
