About a week old, impossibly cute and already developing expensive tastes.

Lamb Pre-Orders

🐑 Half & whole lambs available...
because owning half a lamb is more impressive than owning half a chicken.

Orders close the last Saturday of every month, with lamb arriving the first Saturday of the following month.

As fresh lamb is available on the day, pre-ordering ensures you'll get those tasty cuts you want.

Matilda’s greatest talent is singing. She has the lungs of a foghorn and the vocal range of Whitney Houston. We’ve told her she belongs on the big stage, but she insists on staying because the catering is better.

Come and hear her live Friday-Sunday, 9am-3pm. And if you bring her favourite treats from the farm cart, she may even do an encore.

🐑 A little reminder during lambing season.

We’re a small family run working farm and we love being able to share the animals and farm life with everyone who visits Battle Hill.

At this time of year there are mums and new lambs all around the farm. Please enjoy them from a distance and don’t corner or separate a lamb from its mum.

Our hand-reared orphaned lambs in the pen by the farm cart are there for gentle pats.

Some of our animals in the paddocks are also used to being petted but please check with us first before patting them.

Farm cart & animals open Friday-Sunday, 9am–2pm.

Happy birthday to the man, the legend, the reason one of our goats answers to “Leonard.” 🎉🐐

If you’ve ever met Jono, you’ll know he’s one of the good ones. Kind, generous, always up for an adventure and somehow more at home outdoors than most of us are indoors.

To be fair, Leonard does share a few of Jono’s best qualities… friendly, curious by nature and usually off exploring somewhere.

Have an awesome birthday Jono! From all of us at the farm especially Leonard✨❤️
