Got children with more energy than sense?

Excellent. Bring them to the farm.

Tomorrow we’re providing the traditional rural solution: fresh air, animals and no batteries.

While they spend the day feeding every animal, looking at lambs, chasing around outside and generally discovering that gravity still works, you can enjoy some peace and quiet.

Lunch is also sorted. At 10:30am, we’re firing up the BBQ for the finest agricultural cuisine known to mankind: Sausages

And in case you’ve forgotten about dinner while enjoying your newfound peace, we’ve got that sorted too! Fresh lamb meat will be available to take home.

Fresh lamb is available from the farm cart today. 🐑

It was raised here at Battle Hill, which means we have successfully completed the rather complicated process of turning grass into dinner.

So if you’re looking for something local or you’ve discovered that dinner has once again failed to organise itself, come and see us.

The farm has not moved, the animals are eagerly awaiting attention and we are carrying on as normal.

We’ll be shearing from 7:30am in the woolshed and if you’ve ever wondered what actually happens when the wool comes off, you’re welcome to come and have a look.

No fancy tour, just sheep, shearers and a woolshed full of wool.
