This Saturday, 21st, we will have our last garage sale at the cafe. 8am-11am. We still have a few chairs and tables available, and some smaller kitchen items, such as tea cups, saucers and coffee cups, plus our church pews, and the industrial table pictured. Feel free to pop in tomorrow (Friday), as well, we will be there from 9am-2pm. Cheers.

Hello people. We are powering through our garage sale items, many thanks to the who have have already picked up items. We still have some bargains though, so we will run another this coming SATURDAY 14TH, 8AM-11AM. We still have assorted tables and chairs available, and many smaller cafe items . To all our lovely customers, we are very saddened to say that we have made the decision to close the cafe permanently, and this happened on 30th November, 2024.
We have had numerous issues with the condition of the building during our tenancy at the cafe, coming to a head with our recent MPI food audit ,where aspects of the building have been deemed non-conforming. With a lot of thought and some legal advice, we have therefore sadly chosen not to renew our lease, resulting in the closure.
We have met a lot of awesome people, and we say THANK YOU for the laughs, the smiley faces, and the happiness. You have helped us heaps.
Many of you will remain friends and we WILL see you again!

Hello people, just a heads up that we are changing our operating hours for the Cafe. From next week, (15th October)we will be opening from THURSDAY to SATURDAY, same opening times, 7 am until 3pm. Please feel free to direct message or email for ordering coffee beans to pick up, either during opening hours or alternative arrangement can be made. These hours will be until further notice, and we will keep you updated. Thanks.

It's that time of the year when we celebrate Matariki, so we will be closed on the public holiday ( this FRIDAY, 28 June). We WILL be open on the Saturday however. So if you are needing coffee beans for the long weekend, and you are going away, come in before Friday !

Just a heads up, we will be CLOSED this SATURDAY, 1st June, for a private event, so if you need to grab some coffee beans for the long weekend, get in by Friday ! β˜•πŸ˜€.

That's almost a wrap for the first quarter of the year, wow, which means Easter is around the corner, so we'd like to say "have a great EASTER break, and enjoy some good weather"...(hopefully....).
We will be taking a wee break so the cafe will be CLOSED GOOD FRIDAY and EASTER SATURDAY. Travel safely if you are out on the roads and pop in before Friday to grab your Easter coffee bean supplies. Cheers

Wow, here we are in February already, can you believe that ? We hope the new year has started out well for people, it's been great to see people out and about during the last few weeks, on holiday or sneaking in for a catch up while getting back into work mode. We are CLOSED for Waitangi Day on Tuesday 6th, but will be OPEN tomorrow (Saturday) as normal, so there is still time to grab some of our fresh, micro-roasted coffee beans for the weekend. Don't these look yummy? Cheers!

We would like to say a big thank our lovely customers for making it through the year with us, it feels a bit like its' been a long one, and it has had its moments for lots of us. However we are near the end, time to kick back and relax soon! We closing down from 3 pm tomorrow afternoon, 23rd Dec, and will be reopening on January 11th 2024..... please take care if you are out and about travelling, and hopefully you'll get to spend time recharging and relaxing, ready for 2024! A Quick update as we head into the final week of the year, we will be closing at the earlier time of 1 PM on Wednesday 20th December for a private function. Thank you.
EDIT- we are open normal hours though until the 23rd…..will post our holiday hours soon.
