Hello Everyone
We wanted to let our wonderful community know that Catlins Inn will be taking a little break starting 25 March 2026.
We’re closing temporarily while we get everything ready for the new owners to take over. It’s an exciting change, and we’re making sure the handover goes smoothly so the pub can come back better than ever.
Thank you for all your support, laughter, and good times. We truly appreciate every one of you. The new team will share reopening details as soon as they’re ready.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find a Superstar replacement for Ollie (who leaves us on Sunday) so Catlins Inn will be closed from Monday 29th September until the week of the 13th of October while the search continues.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sorry folks the pub will be closed today due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be back open from 12pm tomorrow. Hopefully we can get back to these sunny days soon. I think we are all a bit over the rain.(Unless you’re a duck 🦆)

Happy Fathers Day!!
Today is a pretty special day. Not only do the Dads that are sharing the load with there partner, not only to the single Dads who are absolutely smashing it and sometimes don’t realise but also to the single mums, who have to play both parents. You guys are all absolutely amazing people and you should all be very proud of yourselves. Being a dad/parent is one of the most hardest but most rewarding things you can ever do and I know personally I would not change it for anything in this world. So shout out to all the Dads out there. If you’re close by come in for our Pizza and Quart Special! Have an amazing Father’s Day everyone.
