We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible support from our community this week, and it has made us even more excited for the journey ahead! 🥹

A New Chapter Begins at Columbus Coffee Mega Oamaru! ☕️

We’re excited to introduce the new owners of Columbus Coffee Mega Oamaru – Allan & Amanda Moon!

Amanda will be leading the kitchen as our chef, serving up all your café favourites (and a few delicious surprises along the way!). Allan will be busy working behind the scenes… or, if you can’t find him, there’s a good chance he’s out on the golf course! 😉

The best part? A familiar face isn’t going anywhere! Lauren will still be here as our Café Manager, keeping everything running smoothly and continuing to make the amazing coffees you’ve come to know and love 💛

We’d love to welcome you in over the coming week. Pop by for a coffee, a bite to eat, and say hello—we can’t wait to meet you and share this exciting new journey with our community.

We’re hiring! Part-time Café All-Rounder

Columbus Coffee Oamaru is looking for a reliable, friendly Café All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a part-time role with a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the possibility of extra hours during busy periods or to cover leave.

We’re looking for someone who is confident in a busy café environment, great with customers, able to help across front of house and food service, and happy to jump in where needed. Café or hospitality experience is preferred, and coffee-making skills would be a bonus.

Full training can be provided for the right candidate.

We’re a family-owned café located inside Mitre 10 MEGA Oamaru, with a strong focus on great coffee, fresh food, and friendly service.
