We carried on from Lilly Pad and drove on to Paeroa to see the Big L and P Bottle then stopped at this really cool pub apparently it flooded a few years back was really old and very friendly. We had a cold drink. Arrived at Wahi for the Gold mine tour. All on the bus in our little yellow hardhats and hi vis. Really amazing tour, then done the Gold Experience, to see the scale of it huge. Definitely worth seeing. Then drove the very windy roads to Whitianga checked in then dinner with the club at Stocked. Beautiful meal prawns and Lamp Rump. Nice day again today. Time for a dip in the Hottub.

It was an early start yesterday up at 5.30 am to met at the 3a by 6.30 am with the Jag club. We were off to Whitianga for the weekend. 7 cars met up and we were on our way. Only got to Urenui and we had our 1st casualty. Pauls tyres came off the rim. So we headed on our trip. 1st stop was brunch in Cambridge at The Lilly Pad cafe. All arriving to learn Wayne had hurt a turkey in his jag. Poor turkey. Not Wayne. Brunch was very nice in the relaxed gardens. Had the big Breakfast and a nice lemon raspberry crumble. Very nice stop. Good drive made good time.

Another great day today all our members getting together for our Annual General meeting at GCR. Kind enough to open for us as a private function. Graeme Blackstock opened the meeting. John Spurdles report of all our fun activities enjoyed over the past year with lots of our members organizing fun outings in our Jaguars. Trips away and mid week lunches. Alot of good times together as a club. Club nominations, everyone stayed in their current positions for another year. We all enjoyed a sensational lunch together with drinks. Everyone looking forward to future events. Meeting closed.

Midweek club lunch at Gusto today - a gorgeous day to be down at Port Taranaki. A delicious array of food and drinks.

A very good night for our Annual Prize Giving night at the Blenheim room Plymouth Hotel. Amazing job by Ozy organizing the venue and Michelle for making the event very special. 26 members got together for pre dinner drinks and a chit chat. Throughly enjoyed a 3 course meal, bread roll choice of either chicken or roast beef. Then the dessert was simply divine. Banoffe pie or apple strudel. The trophies presented to the various winners of all the fun events hosted throughout the year. Keenest member was awarded to Lyn and Richard this year. Big thanks to John and Judy for organizing the trophies. A really good night enjoyed by everyone. Members enjoyed a few drinks and some lovely display of Lamborghinis on show outside the foyer. But we all love our Jaguars.
