Dear friends of The Barong Restaurant Indonesia, while our doors are not yet open again, our hearts are wide open.
Today, we are reaching out to ask for your kindness to help bring relief to the people of Aceh/Sumatra.
Many families in Sumatra are currently facing unimaginable hardship due to severe flooding. Homes have been destroyed, livelihoods washed away, and access to basic needs like food, clean water, and shelter has become incredibly difficult.
For those of us watching from afar, it’s heartbreaking, but it’s also a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a real difference. Even a modest donation can help alleviate suffering, provide essential necessities, and remind people that they are not alone.
We have been working closely with a reliable group of people on the ground who are already dedicating their time and energy to help the flood victims. We know these people personally, and they are ensuring that support reaches those who need it most. But more are needed, and we cannot do it alone.

Helloo… we will have fresh Indonesian Tempe in the next couple of days, please let us know if you would like to buy some, (more or less) and $10/ pack. Fresh, no preservative, very yummy, unlike those you find in supermarkets.
